Bothell native Alison Banchero has cultivated her own style of northwest music. Her beautiful piano centered sound is rooted in classical but pulls influences from genres like Jazz, Pop and stretches all the way to Musical Theater. When you combine these unique elements you get an authentic and stripped down sound that can only be described as soulful and emotional. As a solo artist Banchero creates a connection with her audience that is reminiscent of intimate jazz clubs but she is still able to bring the flair and glamour of a modern entertainer that comes with performing at a higher level.
Banchero has been playing and performing professionally since age 16. In 2015 she received the Seattle Theater Group’s Songwriting Scholarship in order to attend their Songwriting Lab. This allowed her to learn and further develop her craft from master songwriters such as Duff Mckagan, Bernadette Bascom, and Michael Shrieve. This opportunity inspired her to pursue a solo career in music.
2016 looks to be a good year for Bachero as she releases her debut EP “STAY”. She is looking to continue playing shows and expand her fan base throughout this next year.
